Hi, I'm Desmond Tse
DESIGNER
Started as a freelancer in 2018, I love designing layouts, chatting with clients and being a graphic designer. I believe every good design starts from an empathetic approach to emphasize people's needs and wants.
Like all avenues of creative work, there is a satisfying joy in taking something imaginative and bringing it to life. I find I am at my most creative when limitations are resolute allowing innovative solutions to flourish.
I'm cautiously pessimistic about LLM AI and its rampaging influence on critical thinking. I believe AI has potential as a tool for optimizing workflow but there seems to be an overwhelming reliance on using it as a replacement for everyday thinking. Frictionless creativity removes the fun.

Most often than not clients will have additional elements added or adjusted. A less is more design approach allows room for iteration when met with feedback.

An aphorism that feels disingenuous in creative work. However, knowing where to effectively allocate time is a vital skill that helps to stay organized.

Part of the process is to explore many different ideas from both external and internal sources to see what works. Different strokes for different folks.
